Motorcycles have become more preferred by motorists in most parts of the world because of the lower cost compared to a car. Maintenance is cheaper and one can get to his destination faster, especially if he can slip through the heavy traffic.

Most of the more expensive models are the ones that have been manufactured decades ago, and are restored and maintained by motorcycle enthusiasts. One such model is the Harley Davidson Knucklehead, which was manufactured between 1936 and 1947. This motorcycle was called “Knucklehead” because of the shape of its engine, which looks like a fist with knuckles sticking out.

There are a few owners of this model, and they are maintaining it and are accessorizing it. Among the accessories are the Harley Davidson Knucklehead windshields, which may no longer be the original accessory. Modern windshields can be custom made to fit the design of the motorcycle.

To maintain Harley Davidson Knucklehead windshields, simple dish washing liquid may be used with warm water. A soft cloth such as a cloth diaper can be used – this should be soaked in the dishwashing liquid solution, and then wiped on the windshield. Make sure that the wiping direction is only up-down, since circular wiping may result in swirls that can cause glares. Rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth. A car wax can also be used on the windshield to prevent dirt build up.
